HOMEWORK HELP...

We offer homework help at the middle school during the school year on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 7:40-8:10 a.m. and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:20-4:00 p.m.  In-town transportation is provided after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students assigned to homework help will be expected to stay on one of these days similar to when detention is assigned.  Students who are not assigned to homework help but are wanting extra help and support are also welcome to attend any session of homework help that is offered.

ENSURING EACH AND EVERY CHILD ACHIEVES EXCELLENCE!

This year (2018-2019) at the Montevideo Middle School we celebrate 23 years of education in our current building, having moved into our “new” facility in December of 1995.

We have changed over the last 23 years, having housed grades 5-8 at one time.  We currently house intermediate grades 4 and 5 and middle school grades 6 and 7.  We have a student body of approximately 450 students and approximately 35 licensed teachers.  Our staff is a professional, caring, and committed team.  We want to ensure that ALL children have a sense of belonging and achieve at high levels.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Montevideo Middle School has a student-centered approach that focuses on student achievement while educating the whole child.
