This year (2018-2019) at the Montevideo Middle School we celebrate 23 years of education in our current building, having moved into our “new” facility in December of 1995.

We have changed over the last 23 years, having housed grades 5-8 at one time.  We currently house intermediate grades 4 and 5 and middle school grades 6 and 7.  We have a student body of approximately 450 students and approximately 35 licensed teachers.  Our staff is a professional, caring, and committed team.  We want to ensure that ALL children have a sense of belonging and achieve at high levels.

The Montevideo Middle School has a student-centered approach that focuses on student achievement while educating the whole child.
